Rétrospective Albert Capellani<br />
Les Archives du <strong>Film</strong> et du dépôt légal du Centre national de la cinématographie<br />
et la Cinémathèque française, en collaboration avec<br />
Pathé-Archives, l’AFRHC et les Indépendants du Premier Siècle du<br />
Cinéma préparent pour 2001 une rétrospective Albert Capellani<br />
(1874-1931) à la Cinémathèque française assortie de la publication<br />
d‘un numéro Hors série de la revue 1895.<br />
A cette occasion, certaines restaurations vont être menées. Afin de<br />
localiser et de répertorier l’ensemble de l’œuvre du cinéaste nous<br />
remercions les affiliés de la <strong>FIAF</strong> de bien vouloir nous signaler les<br />
films d’Albert Capellani en leur possession ainsi que toute documentation<br />
associée, écrite, documents iconographiques (photos, affiches),<br />
scénarios, etc.<br />

The Archives du <strong>Film</strong> et du dépôt légal du Centre national de la cinématographie<br />
and the Cinémathèque française in collaboration with<br />
Pathé-Archives, AFRHC and the Independants <strong>of</strong> the first century <strong>of</strong><br />
cinema, are preparing for 2001 a retrospective in France on Albert<br />
Capellani (1874 – 1931) at the Cinémathèque française as well as a<br />
monography in the serie 1895.<br />
Several restorations are being undertaken for this event. In order to<br />
get the best material and localise all the films concerned <strong>of</strong> his<br />
French and American period, we are asking <strong>FIAF</strong> colleagues to keep<br />
us informed <strong>of</strong> Capellani’s films in their archive as well as associated<br />
unique material such as scenarios, stills and posters and memorabilia.<br />
