For the 2nd year in a row, any comparative statistics<br />
(except <strong>for</strong> income <strong>and</strong> expenses) contained in this report<br />
are not readily apparent–disappointing. Revenue is also<br />
unclear (see p. 6-7). We are told that, <strong>of</strong> expenses:<br />
Administration 11%. Fund raising 12%. “In FY05, it<br />
supported the self-help ef<strong>for</strong>ts <strong>of</strong> more than 370,000 women<br />
<strong>and</strong> their families in 15 countries” (p. 3).<br />
In the section titled “Fulfilling the promise” (p. 8-10),<br />
donors are listed <strong>and</strong> ranked into categories by amount<br />
donated. The top category is $100,000+ in which 3 donors<br />
are listed. These include: GlaxoSmithKline (African<br />
Malaria Partnership). U.S. Agency <strong>for</strong> International<br />
Development (USAID).<br />
On the inside rear cover <strong>of</strong> this oversized, portfoliostyle<br />
