The Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Arts in Business Administration – Computer<br />

Information Systems (CIS) <strong>of</strong>fers a broad base <strong>of</strong> technical knowledge<br />

combined with a strong foundation in business administration.<br />

The student gains practical experience in various strategies and formats<br />

when communicating in an organization setting, learns about<br />

decision-making processes and their implementation in a global setting<br />

and examines various s<strong>of</strong>tware systems in terms <strong>of</strong> roles, significant<br />

features, and advantages and disadvantages. The program <strong>of</strong>fers<br />

broad coverage <strong>of</strong> concepts, theories and practices in selected CIS<br />

areas for strategic support <strong>of</strong> an organization’s computing and information<br />

The Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science in Business Administration – Global<br />

Management and Finance prepares students for work in domestic or<br />

foreign-based companies involved in international trade or finance.<br />

The program emphasizes the impact <strong>of</strong> national culture in shaping<br />

values, behaviors and business practices. Students apply critical thinking<br />

to evaluate global financial issues related to currency fluctuations,<br />

exchange rate risk and multinational investment and capital budgeting.<br />

Students are encouraged to enroll in a study abroad program during<br />

the summer months.<br />

Candidates for the Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science in Business Administration –<br />

Global Management and Finance must complete the minimum course<br />

requirements as outlined in the following curriculum.<br />
