Eligibility<br />
Individuals designated as <strong>of</strong>f-campus students will pay the <strong>of</strong>fcampus<br />
student tuition for courses taken in Titusville or via distance<br />
learning.<br />
Registration<br />
Registration for Titusville students is conducted online each semester<br />
beginning on the date scheduled in the academic calendar. Students<br />
are strongly urged to register before classes begin. Under certain<br />
circumstances, students may be able to register through the second<br />
week <strong>of</strong> classes.<br />
On-Campus Students: Melbourne students may not register at the<br />
Titusville <strong>of</strong>fices. They must register online or at the Melbourne<br />
campus for all courses.<br />
Textbooks<br />
Textbooks will be sold through www.mbsdirect.net or through MBS<br />
DIRECT: (800) 325-3252.<br />
Libraries<br />
<strong>Florida</strong> Tech’s Evans Library on the Melbourne campus is within reasonable<br />
driving distance. Most services (except checking out materials)<br />
can be accessed at www.lib.fit.edu/. Other libraries located in<br />
Brevard County are available to students. These include the college<br />
libraries at Brevard Community College/UCF in Cocoa, and Brevard<br />
Community College in Melbourne and Titusville. Finally, public libraries<br />
are located in Brevard County population centers and include a<br />
research library in Cocoa.<br />

The purpose <strong>of</strong> the Virtual Site is to extend the educational opportunity<br />
to pursue graduate studies to individuals and groups who are unable<br />
to access traditional resident-based graduate programs.<br />
The Virtual Site <strong>of</strong>fers complete master’s degree programs in a total<br />
distance learning online environment. There is no requirement for<br />
U.S. residency.<br />
Graduate credit certificate programs are also available online. See this<br />
section for details about available graduate credit certificate programs.<br />
Admission is open to all individuals who possess an undergraduate<br />
degree from a university or college that is regionally accredited in the<br />
United States. Individuals who possess a degree from other than a<br />
U.S. college or university may be admitted subject to conditions for<br />
international student enrollments.<br />
Admission criteria are discussed in the Academic Overview section<br />
<strong>of</strong> this catalog.<br />
Individuals who do not meet the stated requirements for regular<br />
admission may petition to take graduate courses for credit as a continuing<br />
education applicant.<br />
Library Facilities<br />
Students may access the main <strong>Florida</strong> Tech library (Evans Library)<br />
via the Internet. The Library Information Network (LINK) provides<br />
access to the catalog <strong>of</strong> books, government publications and periodicals<br />
owned by the library as well as access to databases, full-text<br />
documents and Internet sites.<br />

The Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science in Logistics Management is <strong>of</strong>fered to students<br />
who hold an associate <strong>of</strong> arts degree (minimum <strong>of</strong> 60 semester<br />
credit hours) or the equivalent in transferable credit from a regionally<br />
accredited institution. The program is suited to military personnel<br />
who will continue through the master’s degree program in logistics<br />
management.<br />
Degree Requirements<br />
The degree is conferred on a student who has successfully completed<br />
60 semester credit hours beyond the associate degree in accordance<br />
with the following requirements.<br />
