accountability’ and Objective 9 ‘To provide leadership and vision to the local
community’. Indirectly, ensuring the involvement of the community in planning
matters will allow partnership working toward all corporate objectives.
2.2 The production and adoption of the SCI fits exactly with the Council’s Core Value of
‘Participation’ which seeks to involve the whole community in decision making.
