• Sample Surveys – e.g. the Citizens’ Panel.
• Press and Media Releases.
• Public Meetings and attendance at Parish Meetings.
• Public Speaking at Planning Committees.
• Council Web-site.
• Use of the Internet - The Council are embracing e-Government and bringing in a
raft of new measures to ensure the public are kept up to date and can comment
whenever possible.
• Public Exhibitions.
• Local Partnerships especially the Local Strategic Partnership.
• Stakeholder meetings; e.g. Architects and Agents Forum.
• Through the Urban Renaissance programme (regular meetings).
• Letters to stakeholders, Statutory consultees, etc

out to and involve specific and hard to reach groups.
4.5 How Will I Be Able to Comment?
4.5.1 The Borough Council will make it as easy as possible for you to make your comments
on published documents. You can respond in the following ways:
• Returning Paper Forms attached to published documents by post or at designated
collection points; e.g. Scarborough Town Hall, Filey Evron Centre.
• Completing online forms electronically.
• By E-Mail direct to Forward Planning.
• Returning Forms or Letters by Fax.
• By bespoke letter.
• By telephoning your comments.
