Objectives The participant:<br />

> Can confidently and safely work on high-voltage systems in accordance with Trade<br />

Association Ordinance BGV A3 and VDE 0105/ECE R105<br />

> Is familiar with the high-voltage concepts and the technical background of the highvoltage<br />

components<br />

> Can explain the technical responsibility and the legal background<br />

> Can describe the power disconnect procedure<br />

> Is familiar with the required safety precautions to protect against electric shock and<br />

arc faults<br />

> Is familiar with the necessary first aid measures<br />

Contents Laws and regulations related to work on high-voltage motor vehicles<br />

> Safety information<br />

> Effects of electricity on the human body<br />

> High-voltage sections and high-voltage safety precautions<br />

> Procedure for working on high-voltage vehicles<br />

> First aid measures, rescue chain<br />

Motor Vehicles – Awareness • e-<strong>Training</strong> • Go<br />

This training/test has to be booked, before you are authorized to book the main training.<br />

You´ll find a detailed description about the training, using the training code.<br />

<strong>Training</strong> Depth Go Method Theorie 70%, Practice30%<br />

Note The following prerequisites are defined by the Trade Association for qualification as a<br />

"Specialist for intrinsically safe high-voltage series production vehicles":<br />

- Automotive mechanic, electrician, mechatronics engineer (with start of vocational<br />

training after 1973)<br />

- Automotive foreperson ("master") for mechanical, electrical, mechatronic systems<br />

(master's examination taken after 1973)<br />

- Automotive service technician with certification received after 1973<br />

- Graduate engineer, bachelor's degree, master's degree, or state-certified technician for<br />

electrical engineering<br />

- Automotive body mechanic, vehicle construction mechanic (with start of vocational<br />

training after 2002)<br />

- Automotive body mechanic foreperson, vehicle construction mechanic foreperson (with<br />

master's examination taken after 2002)<br />

IMPORTANT! Persons with electronic implants (e.g. pacemakers) are not permitted to<br />

work on high-voltage systems. They may not do any practical work on the HV system<br />

during training and are not HV-certified after the conclusion of training.<br />
