Objectives The participant can
> Diagnose body noise and leaks and name the current remedies
> Describe the design, function and adjustment of the side window system in all vehicles
with frameless windows and work in a process-oriented manner (R172, A207, R230)
> Rectify qualitative field complaints in the course of an exchange of experience
> Disassemble and assemble equipment components related to tightness problems and
noise
> Use the different test and repair tools (e.g. ultrasonic tester and noise case)
Contents > Pinpointing the source of body noises and leaks, and eliminating them by
implementing appropriate measures (exact content will be determined shortly before the
course starts based on complaint rates)
> Fault diagnosis and repair of the window systems, power windows and sliding/tilting
roofs
> Exchange of experience between participants, who have been asked to present 2 field
complaints for the E-Class, C-Class and SL-Class model series and to describe the
causes of and, if possible, name remedial measures for these problems
> TOP 10 key warranty and goodwill topics related to vehicle equipment will be
presented.
> Fault diagnosis and remedial measures for the model series dealt with as regards
frameless windows, and the use of appropriate tools such as the "noise case," "ultrasonic
testers" and the "special case for adjusting wipers"

Note The participant has experience in the repair of equipment packages and is especially
deployed in matters involving noises, leaks and adjustment operations.
The training is strongly built around current complaint issues. Participants are
encouraged to contribute by relating their own experience.
