Objectives The participant can:
> Name the basic electrical variables and their relationship to one another (Ohm's law)
> Independently conduct measurements on the vehicle with the aid of the workshop
literature and a multimeter
> Apply the latest service literature in a targeted manner for maintenance, diagnosis and
repair
> Carry out test, adjustment and repair work using digital multimeters, Star Diagnosis,
including the HMS Measurement Technology, oscilloscopes and the Diagnosis Assistance
System (DAS) on electrical systems in the Canter and on components, sensors and
actuators
> Independently implement the regular updates according to requirements
> Independently plan targeted diagnostic steps for the FUSO Canter
> Initiate/carry out appropriate remedial measures

> ECU parameterization
> Proper testing of networking
> User interface and fundamentals of the Star Diagnosis software programs

> Efficient use of Star Diagnosis and the DAS and HMS 990 programs
> Strategies for diagnosing electrical and electronic systems
> Practical work on guided diagnosis based on the diagnosis model
Optional prerequisite The participant has basic knowledge of electrical systems.
