Objectives The participant can:<br />

> Describe the basic design and most important functions of the system network in the<br />

on-board electrical system of The New Star of Long-Distance Transport<br />

> Properly network the body and vehicle systems with each other.<br />

> Parameterize power take-off functions<br />

Contents > On-board electrical system design, control unit networking and module functions<br />

(SAM, CGW)<br />

> Design and function of modular switch panel in interior compartment<br />

> Retrofitting individual components and additional lamps, picking off important<br />

potentials and signals<br />

> Parameterization of power take-off functions<br />

> Use of existing preinstallations (e.g. telephone, radio, etc.) and telematics interface<br />

Optional prerequisite Knowledge of the on-board electrical system and basic knowledge of the PSM.<br />

<strong>Training</strong> Depth Run Method Theorie 60%, Practice40%<br />

Note Participants can refresh their knowledge using the CBT programs "Parameterizable<br />

Special Modules, Parts 1-2" and "Controller Area Network (CAN)".<br />
