Objectives The participant can
> Actively participate in the experts' exchange of experience and obtain new approaches
to solutions in diagnosis
> Conduct targeted diagnosis on the engine and all peripheral systems (air intake,
charging, exhaust gas recirculation, exhaust aftertreatment, glow system)
> Make targeted use of the HMS
> Evaluate oscilloscope images and assess measurement values
> Open a Xentry TIPS case module with meaningful specifications
Contents > Exchange of Experience
> Strategies and practical approach during diagnosis
> Evaluation of actual and measurement values
> Evaluation of fault freeze frame data
> Use of service literature (WIS, TIPS, SI...) and workshop test equipment (HMS, DAS)
> Interaction of air intake, charging, exhaust gas recirculation, exhaust aftertreatment
> Legal specifications and measures for adhering to exhaust emissions standards
> Practical work
Optional prerequisite The participant has extensive knowledge of CDI and has experience in diagnosing CDI
engines. He/she is conversant with the operation and handling of the measuring and
diagnostic equipment.

This training/test has to be booked, before you are authorized to book the main training.

Note In the training course we will conduct an exchange of experience session with you. For
this, please bring along cases on the topic of van CDI engines that you have experienced
in your workshop. It does not matter if these cases have already been handled or not.
You will have the opportunity to present these cases during the training course. For this
purpose, please bring along supplemental information such as:
The repair order, fault symptom, complaint, fault code, fault freeze frame data, actual
values, measured values (oscilloscope images, multimeter readings).
