Objectives The participant can:<br />

> Describe the application area and the tasks of the PSM (parameterizable special<br />

module)<br />

> Understand the basic design of the PSM<br />

> Describe the design and function of the parameterizable special module and its<br />

integration in the on-board electrical system in current truck models<br />

> Use functions described in the workshop literature<br />

> Manage PSM data records<br />

> Parameterize the special module as specified in the customer order and perform<br />

relevant diagnoses<br />

> Inputs and outputs on the PSM<br />

> Functions in the PSM<br />

> Control of complex power take-offs<br />

> Use of workshop literature<br />

> Managing PSM data records<br />

> Performing actual vehicle parameterizations via the PSM<br />

Optional prerequisite The participant has successfully completed training courses "T0179F • Trucks, Vans •<br />

Star Diagnosis • Level I • Go", "P0019F • WIS/ASRA 3 for Workshop Specialists • Go",<br />

"T0004F • Passenger Cars, Trucks, Vans, smart • Diagnosis Strategy 1 • Go" and<br />

"T0146F • Trucks • Actros Road Vehicle • Go" or has equivalent knowledge.<br />
