The consumption of coffee husks for that purpose is approximately 20 tons<br />

per day in 2003 (Norplan, 2003). No information is available on the number of<br />

operating days a year, but assumed that the factory produce 320 days (Kakira<br />

Sugar Works operates 320 days a year according to Polzin (2004)) a year, the<br />

total amount of coffee husks used is 6 400 tons.<br />
