Verify that:<br />

1. Each port is assigned a unique address (not set to Disabled).<br />

Use the Configuration/Setup Utility program to check the<br />

setting. For instructions, refer to Chapter 5, “Using the<br />

Configuration/Setup Utility <strong>Pro</strong>gram” on page 41.<br />

2. The parallel-port adapter, if you added one, is properly<br />

installed and firmly seated. Refer to Chapter 7, “Installing<br />

Options Overview” on page 81 for instructions on adding<br />

adapters.<br />

If the problem cannot be isolated and corrected, have the computer<br />

serviced.<br />
