Memory DIMM Options<br />
Important<br />
Be sure to observe the following guidelines when adding memory DIMM<br />
options to your computer.<br />
� The <strong>IntelliStation</strong> E <strong>Pro</strong> does not support EDO memory.<br />
� Only 168-pin, 100 MHz, 3.3v industry standard memory DIMMs are supported.<br />
� There are two types of memory DIMMs available for the <strong>IntelliStation</strong> E <strong>Pro</strong><br />
computer: Registered Memory technology and Unregistered Memory technology.<br />
� Registered Memory DIMMs are not compatible with Unregistered Memory<br />
DIMMs.<br />
� The 256 MB ECC Memory DIMM is Registered Memory technology.<br />
� Only the 256 MB ECC Registered Memory DIMM (IBM OBI Part Number<br />
01K1132) is supported on the <strong>IntelliStation</strong> E <strong>Pro</strong> computer.<br />
� The 32 MB, 64 MB, and 128 MB DIMMs are Unregistered Memory technology.<br />
� When adding additional memory DIMMs, be sure that all installed memory<br />
DIMMs are of the same type. For example:<br />
– All installed DIMMs are Registered Memory<br />
- or -<br />
– All installed DIMMs are Unregistered Memory<br />
