35.060. Corporate Project<br />

A corporate project is defined as a project undertaken by Rotary International and its Foundation,<br />

and approved by the Council on Legislation, in which all clubs worldwide are encouraged to<br />

participate. As outlined in section 40.040.1. of the Rotary Code of Policies and section 11.030.<br />

of The Rotary Foundation Code of Policies, no new corporate projects will be considered until<br />

35.070. Representatives to Other Organizations<br />

The president, in consultation with the Trustee chairman as appropriate, may appoint an<br />

experienced Rotarian to act as a representative to organizations with which RI or TRF have<br />

cooperative relationships.<br />

Representatives shall serve for the term of the relationship or a maximum of three years,<br />

renewable for a further three years.<br />

Representatives will act as liaison between the cooperative organization, the president, the<br />

Trustee chairman and the general secretary, attending meetings as requested, monitoring<br />

progress on the relationship and communicating with the cooperating organization on policy,<br />

programs and activities of RI and TRF relevant to the cooperative relationship.<br />

Representatives shall receive initial orientation and ongoing briefings as necessary to fulfill their<br />

responsibilities.<br />

Expenses shall be reimbursed to the extent of approved budgeted amounts and in accordance<br />

with RI policy.<br />

The president, in consultation with the Trustee chairman as appropriate, may remove a<br />

35.080. Invitations to Attend Meetings of Other Organizations<br />

The general secretary shall respond to invitations for RI or TRF to attend meetings of other<br />

organizations in the following manner:<br />

1) Evaluate the meetings in terms of both potential program information and Rotary visibility<br />

2) Identify Rotarians -- such as general officers, members of RI committees, as well as other<br />

Rotary leaders -- who both live in or near the meeting city and who are knowledgeable about<br />

Rotary activities relating to the subject of the meeting and to include this information in the<br />

database being developed for the president, president-elect, president nominee, TRF chairman,<br />

and TRF chairman-elect
