12. Ginger (Zingiber officinale): Extract the 500 gm Ginger
rhizome juice, add one lit of
cow urine and 10 litres of
water mix well and use as
spray.
The target pest is: Cerospora
The diseases controlled are:
Leaf mold, leaf spot, early
blight, frog-eye leaf spot.
13. Gliricidia sepium: Extract the juice of Gliricidia sepium from
1 kg leaves, and then mix
juice with 3 litres of water,
and use as spray. Fresh
stems with leaves can be
placed between plants to
deter insects.
