Fxhibitors seem to have a new optimism
after the even distribution of Oscars in
the annual battle of the ballots. Theatres
with this year's winners in the saddle can
look forward to long runs with the product
on hand.
Meanwhile, Hie trade, press screenings at
Century Cinema Corp.. are giving the projection
machinery a real workout. Recent
showings have included Alex Joseph and

Co.'s South DeKalb and Cobb Center Theatres.
Greenbriar Branch Library is sponsoring
a film series for children 6 to 12 years old
Thursday afternoons through April 28. Included
will be "The Selfish Giant," "Shopping
Bag Lady," "Anoop and the Elephant"
and "Treasures in the Pyramid."
