Program Narrative:<br />
At the time of the publication of this catalog, the hiring of a new full-time faculty member in Digital Technologies<br />
was underway. This person will direct the AOM program as well as create a new program in the field of Information<br />
and Communications Technologies that fits <strong>Feather</strong> <strong>River</strong> <strong>College</strong> and satisfies student and workforce needs. Please<br />
contact the Office of Instruction for additional information.<br />
Student Learning Outcomes:<br />
Upon degree completion, students will have participated in a program that has clearly defined learning outcomes<br />
through a curriculum that reflects a wide range of study, as well as diverse delivery systems.<br />
Each graduate is accountable in the following areas:<br />
• Resources: Identifies, organizes, plans, and allocates the resources of time, money, material and facilities,<br />
and human resources.<br />
• Soft Skills (Interpersonal): Works well with others<br />
by participating as a member of a team, as well as<br />
in serving clients/customers; demonstrates ethical<br />
behavior; communicates orally; increases on-the-job<br />
flexibility; and works with diversity.<br />
• Leadership: Displays accountability. Performs tasks as<br />
described. Demonstrates ability to instruct new skills<br />
to others. Takes responsibility based on constructive<br />
ethical standards. Shows knowledge of administrative<br />
procedures. Projects professional demeanor.<br />
• Information: Acquires and uses information by<br />
analyzing, evaluating, organizing, maintaining,<br />
interpreting, and communicating information, as well<br />
as writing clearly and professionally.<br />
• Technology: Uses software applications, hardware,<br />
and general office equipment, effectively and efficiently<br />
which are appropriate for office professionals and<br />
consistent with current labor market needs.<br />
