Obtain tender documents & understand pre-qualification formalities<br />
Assessing need for Joint Venture & entering into Joint Venture agreement, if required<br />
Planning department to obtain inputs from various departments for estimation of various parameters like cost,<br />
manpower, equipment, etc.<br />
Preparation of tender – BOQ, Price analysis, planning etc. & review tender conditions.<br />
To finalise & submit tender documents along with EMD<br />
Post Tender Follow-up<br />

This process starts with the submission of the tender documents. Our Company has a team that follows up with the<br />
clients to understand the developments taking place. This process is important as it will help the team to analyse the<br />
business development process, trends in the industry, pricing practise being followed by other players, etc. The post<br />
tender follow – up process followed by is enumerated as below:<br />
Opening of tenders on the specified date and identification of the tender value<br />
Announcing the sequence of contractors as L1, L2, L3, etc. based on the tender value with L1 being the lowest.<br />
If our Company is L1, then we will have to complete all formalities like –<br />
o Sign contract agreement<br />
o Take possession of the site<br />
o Obtain documents for Mobilisation Advances, etc.<br />

If our Company is not L1, then we will try to analyse the grounds on which we lost the tender<br />
Submit request for refund of EMD<br />
Commercials & Purchase<br />
Once the contract is awarded, our Company will make arrangements for the required raw material, labour and<br />
equipment depending on the size and schedule of the project.Our Company doesn‟t have any identified source of raw<br />
material or a firm contract with any supplier of raw materials. The major raw material for projects undertaken by our<br />
Company are boulders, stone aggregates, cement, steel, bitumen, sand, fuel and water. The Commercial & Purchases<br />
department in conjunction with the Projects Management team draws up the raw material delivery schedule and<br />
places orders with the shortlisted vendors. Short fall in raw materials or urgent requirement, if any is sourced from<br />
local markets. The commercials & purchase process is described as follows<br />
