Lumenera INFINITY ANALYZE
User’s Manual Release 6.0.0
3 From Capture Options Sub-Pane
Select the number of frames to be averaged. If 1 is
selected, no frame averaging will be performed. If
2 is selected, two successive frames will be
summed and then divided by two to create the
intermediate image that is the input to subsequent
post-capture processing. 4 and 8 are similarly
defined.
Frame averaging reduces noise. If n frames are
averaged, the energy of the noise will be 1/n of its
original level.
Frame averaging is performed only when capturing
full field of view.
Sub-sample the output image. If 1 is selected, no
sub-sampling will be done. If 2 is selected, the
number of columns and number of rows of the
image will be reduced by a factor of two by
merging every two consecutive columns and rows.
3 and 4 are similarly defined.
