Program Description
The certifi cate program in Construction Safety and Health will prepare
graduates for employment in the construction safety and health field.
These graduates will work independently or as part of a team to make
the construction workplace safer and healthier by identifying workplace
hazards and possible ways to address these hazards through engineering
solutions, administrative work practices, and the training and education of
workers in safe and healthy work practices.
Career Opportunities
Employment opportunities are also found in areas such as insurance companies,
government agencies, as well as with consulting firms.
