Számítógépes szórakoztatás (Entertainment Computing; Takács Barnabás)Az érdemi szakmai munka az Operatív Bizottságok által létrehozott, speciális informatikaiterületekkel foglalkozó, jelenleg összesen 101 munkacsoportban (WG: Work Group) folyik. Az éventeülésező Technikai Bizottságok tagjai az IFIP teljes jogú tagszervezetei által delegált nemzetiképviselők 2 , valamint a munkacsoportok elnökei. A munkacsoportok szakmai programokat,konferenciákat szerveznek, szakmai publikációk megjelenését támogatják. Azokat a szakembereket,akik az egyes WG-k által lefedett szakterületen jelentős aktivitást mutatnak (konferenciákon előadásttartanak, szervező- és/vagy programbizottságokban vállalnak szerepet, előadások, cikkek minősítésétvállalják) a munkacsoport tagjaivá választhatja. Jelenleg a WG-knek mintegy 3.500 kutató ésgyakorlati szakember a tagja (a magyar tagok száma ennek mintegy 1%-ra becsülhető).Ez is egy tünete annak, hogy a hazai informatikai szakemberek megjelenése a különbözőnemzetközi tudományos fórumokon (nagy konferenciákon előadások ill. programbizottsági részvétel,színvonalas folyóiratokban való publikációk stb.) elmarad a hazai kutatás-fejlesztési tevékenységektényleges színvonalától. Ennek a helyzetnek a javításában az IFIP-nek – és ezen belül elsősorban a TCnemzeti képviselőknek – jelentős feladatai lehetnek.KulcsszavakNemzetközi szervezet, tagszervezetek, operatív bizottság, munkacsoport, nemzetközi szakmaiegyüttműködésAbstractIFIP traces its roots to the very first major international conference on computers andcomputing which was held in Paris in 1959 under the auspices of UNESCO. Representatives of themain societies active in computing got together at that meeting to explore ways of building on theachievements of the conference. As a result in 1960 thirteen national computer societies agreed tofound an international federation and named it IFIP: the International Federation for InformationProcessing. The principal aims of IFIP were and are to foster international cooperation, to stimulateresearch, development and applications and to encourage education and the dissemination andexchange of information on all aspects of computing and communication. Today IFIP has 56organizations representing countries from all regions of the world.
