Informatika a felsőoktatásban 2008 Debrecen, 2008. augusztus 27-29.ADATBÁZIS-KEZELÉS OKTATÁS HALLGATÓI SZEMMELTHE TEACHING OF DATABASE MANAGEMENT FROM STUDENT’S POINT OF VIEWCzenky MártaSzent István Egyetem, Gépészmérnöki Kar, Informatika TanszékÖsszefoglalóA Szent István Egyetem Gépészmérnöki Karán a mérnök informatikus szakirányosgépészmérnök és a kommunikáció technikai mérnök hallgatók hallgatják adatbázis-kezelés tárgyat.A 2007/2008. tanév őszi félévének végén 62 kérdésből álló kérdőívvel kértem a hallgatókvéleményét a tárgyról és az oktatásról. A válaszok ismeretében reméltem, hogy választ kapok akövetkező kérdésekre. Mennyire támaszkodhatom az oktatás során a hallgatók informatika irántiérdeklődésére, számítógépes jártasságára? A tárgyfelvételi és tanulási motivációk mennyibensegíthetik az eredményesebb tanulást? Foglalkoztak-e már a hallgatók előzőleg adatbázis-kezelésiismeretekkel, ha igen, mivel? Kell-e változtatni az egyes témákra fordított idő arányokon? Melyterületeken kell a tanítás eredményességét javítani? Mi a véleménye a hallgatóknak az órai munkáról,az oktatási anyagokról? Kell-e változtatni a számonkérés módján? Kellően objektív-e a hallgatóknaksaját tudásukról alkotott véleménye? Mennyire önállóan készítették el a hallgatók a házi feladatot?Foglalkoznának-e a hallgatók továbbra is adatbázis kezeléssel, miről hallanának szívesen?Előadásomban röviden be kívánom mutatni a témában meghirdetett tárgyakat, azoktematikáját, a kérdőíves felmérés eredményét, valamint az oktatásban ez alapján tervezettváltoztatásokat.Kulcsszavakoktatás, adatbázis-kezelés, kérdőíves felmérésAbstractAt the Faculty of Engineering of Szent István University the engineer-informatics specialistsand the communication technical engineers attend the database management subject.At the end of the autumn semester 2007/2008 I asked the students' opinion by a questionnaireconsisting of 62 questions about the subject and the education. I hoped that with the help of this surveyI can get an answer to the following questions. During the course how much may I lean on thestudents' interest in informatics and their experience in computers? How can I raise the motivationlevel for attending the subject and help the efficiency of learning? Did the students deal with databasemanagement before and if yes what was it? Is it necessary to change the proportion of time we spendwith certain topics? In which areas is it necessary to raise the efficiency of the teaching? What is theopinion of the students about the classwork and about the written curriculum? Is it necessary to makechanges in college paper and homework? Is the students' opinion about their own knowledge objectiveadequately? Did the students prepare their homework absolutely by themselves? Would the studentsdeal with database management in the future and about what would they like to hear about?During my lecture I wish to present shortly the subject announced in the topic, their syllabus,the result of the survey with questionnaire, and the planned changes in the education according to thefindings of the survey.Keywordseducation, database management, survey with questionnaire20
