Informatikai Szolgáltató KözpontÖsszefoglalóBecslések szerint Magyarországon mintegy 1 millió fogyatékkal élő van, akik közüllegkevesebb 300 ezer embertől vonják meg az interneten való akadálymentes böngészés lehetőségét.2004. május 1-től tagja vagyunk annak az Európai Uniónak, amelynek egyik direktívája előírja, hogyrészükre a közszolgálati honlapok elérését is biztosítani szükséges. A milliárdnyi honlap közül alig1/5-e alkalmazkodik a megjelenés elemi, ergonómiai, illetve kódolási szabályaihoz, s teremtlehetőséget arra, hogy a hátrányos helyzetű felhasználók is hiánytalanul megtekinthessék a kívántoldalakat. Az interneten fellelhető problémák előfordulnak az offline módon terjesztett webesalkalmazások (pl. oktatási tananyagot tartalmazó CD) esetében is. Ezért érzem úgy, hogy az általamfeltárt hiányosságokról ezen a konferencián is beszélnem kell. Előadásomban ismertetem azokat azeszközöket, ajánlásokat, ötleteket, amelyekről úgy gondolom, hogy segítségükkel részben vagyegészben akadálymentesíthetők ezen alkalmazások.Kulcsszavakinternet, web, akadálymentesítés, alkalmazás, e-learningAbstractAccording to estimates there are about 1 million disabled people living in Hungary, and atleast 300 thousands of them are deprived of the possibility of browsing on the Internet without anyobstacles. At the same time a European Union directive requires that they must be provided withaccess to public homepages. Only about one-fifth of the billions of Internet pages comply with theelementary, ergonomic and coding rules and make possible for disabled users to have complete accessto the desired pages. The problems existing on the Internet also occur in the case of web applicationsfor educational purposes, for example, in the field of e-learning. For this reason I find that thedeficiencies I have studied need to be discussed during the IF 2008 conference, too. In my lecture Idescribe the tools, recommendations, ideas with the help of which web applications can be partly orcompletely cleared of obstacles both on the Internet and in the field of education, to make themaccessible to the blind, to the visually impaired people, to the colour-blind, to people with deficienthearing, to the physically disabled and, last but not least, to the mentally disabled, too.KeywordsInternet, accessibility, web applications, development, e-learning72
