Private Street - A vehicular travelway, centered within a common area strip,permitted in developments where mandatory property owner associationsexist. Private streets shall undergo the same approval process and meet thesame design and construction standards as public streets. Private Streetsare not encouraged; however, may be permitted for unique situations, suchas, gated communities.
