Advances in Alternative Energy Sources for Sustainable Development in the Transportation
Sector
Session Code: SDP110
Room O2-38
Nakia Simon, Chrysler Corporation LLC; Ronald Williams, Retired, General Motors
This session explores advances in the creation of sustainable energy sources, their usage in the transportation sector, and impact on the
environment. Topics can include research and in-production technology used to produce renewable energy sources such as alternative fuels, as well
as the materials from which they are made. A discussion on lifecycle analysis of the energy source in terms of net efficiency improvement or
greenhouse gas emissions reduction is highly recommended.
