CAE Durability Analysis & Applications (Part 1 of 2)
Session Code:
Room D0-04B
IDMCHAT400
This chat will discuss how to characterize and simulate time varying-loads, calculate the response and the reliability of a system under random
vibration. Issues such as non Gaussian random processes, and nonlinear systems and highlight differences from the classical random vibration
problems of linear systems excited by a stationary random process are discussed as well as methodologies to characterize and sample a random
process and simulation methods to assess the time-varying reliability.
M162
This technical session focuses on advanced technologies in material modeling, stress calculation and fatigue analysis, not only innovative and
improved methods in these areas but also innovative and improved applications to automotive engineering. Discussions on new material constitutive
model development, innovative and improved modeling techniques for stresses, recent advances in fatigue damage calculation and fatigue life
predictions will be addressed.
