In the event a RESPONDENT has a technological solution that does notmeet the exact requirements in the RFP, RESPONDENT may offer morethan one proposal as long as each proposal fully addresses the functionalintent of the requirements set forth in this RFP.2. National Electrical Manufacturer’s Association (NEMA)3. Electronics Industry Association (EIA)4. Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA)5. Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual (TDMM)6. National Electrical Code (NEC)7. Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)8. Federal Communications Commission (FCC)9. Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL)10. American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM)11. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1221B. Harris Site Grounding and Lightning Protection Guidelines (AE/LZT – 1234618/1 – latest revision)3. Other contractor / industry standard – RESPONDENT shall provide to theCounty for review and approval prior to contract award.C. Governing codes and conflicts: If the requirements of this RFP conflict with thoseof the governing codes and regulations, then the more stringent of the two shallbecome applicable.D. If the RESPONDENT cannot meet any of the standards or guidelines listedabove, the RESPONDENT shall list any and all deviations in their proposal forapproval by the County.1.5.2 Frequency Coordination and LicensingA. Land Mobile Radio (LMR) licenses -- The County has been allocated 700 MHzfrequency channels by the Region 42 Regional Planning Committee (RPC). Apreliminary search of spectrum available in the UHF frequency band has beencompleted. The SELECTED VENDOR shall be responsible for all frequencyresearch, prior coordination and preparation of all associated FCC licenseapplications and submittals on behalf of the County. The County shall beresponsible for coordination fees and licensing fees, if any and signatures, asapplicable.B. Microwave Licenses -- The SELECTED VENDOR shall be responsible for allmicrowave frequency research, prior coordination and preparation of allassociated FCC license applications and submittals on behalf of the County. TheCounty shall be responsible for coordination fees and licensing fees, if any andsignatures, as applicable.C. Antenna Structure Registration (ASR) – The SELECTED VENDOR shall beresponsible for preparing ASR applications and submittals on behalf of theCounty.
