UHF/700 MHz P<strong>25</strong> <strong>Radio</strong> Communications System<strong>Request</strong>ion <strong>for</strong> <strong>Proposals</strong><strong>Caroline</strong> <strong>County</strong>, <strong>Virginia</strong>d. The SELECTED VENDOR shall coordinate with the <strong>County</strong> toestablish pass/fail criteria as well as correlation between thesubjective and objective test results. Coverage tests shall becompleted in full foliage.11.7 30-Day Operational TestA. The contractor shall per<strong>for</strong>m a 30 calendar day operational test of the system toensure that all hardware and software defects have been corrected prior toentering final proof of per<strong>for</strong>mance testing. The fully integrated operation of thesystem, including all individual subsystems, shall be demonstrated during thesetests. The tests shall be designed to demonstrate the reliability, long-termstability, and maintainability of the systems. A failure of any component of thesystem during this test will cause the test to restart after the repair is completed.The SELECTED VENDOR and the <strong>County</strong> will agree on what constitutes acritical failure prior to commencing this test.B. The SELECTED VENDOR shall provide a 30-day operational test plan during thepreliminary design phase.11.8 Final Acceptance TestingA. Prior to Final acceptance testing, the SELECTED VENDOR shall verify anddocument that all equipment, hardware, and software are upgraded to the latestfactory revision. Multiple revision levels among similar equipment are notacceptable. The <strong>County</strong> shall be given two weeks written notice that the systemis ready <strong>for</strong> final acceptance testing. The Final Acceptance Test Plan shall test allitems described in the detailed design documents.B. Final Acceptance Test Plan (FATP):1. The SELECTED VENDOR shall use the completed and <strong>County</strong> approvedFinal Acceptance Test Plan (FATP). It is expected that the FATP has beenper<strong>for</strong>med and all tests have been successful be<strong>for</strong>e the <strong>County</strong> witnessesthe official FATP. The FATP shall be signed and dated by the SELECTEDVENDOR and <strong>County</strong> representatives following completion of all tests. Alltests in the FATP shall be marked as either pass, fail, or pass qualify.2. The SELECTED VENDOR shall provide all necessary technical personneland test equipment to conduct FATP tests. All deviations, anomalies, andtest failures shall be resolved at the Vendor's expense.May 27, 2011 Page 91 of 134
