Network Management System7.1 GeneralThis section provides specifications and requirements for an integrated monitoring andcontrol system for local and remote site facilities and equipment. The system is used toprovide remote indication of status, alarms, and analog values, and to provide remotecontrol relay operations.A. System Alarms: The system shall acquire, process and display information in anintegrated and uniform fashion for a variety of critical systems including:1. Trunked and conventional radio systems2. Local and remote site facilities3. Primary and backup power systems4. Microwave, leased line and data networks5. Dispatch console systemsB. Site Alarms – Any change in the state of site equipment shall induce an alarmedstate. Equipment monitored shall include, but not be limited to the following:1. Surge arrestors2. Transfer switch (normal or bypass state)3. Power fail4. HVAC5. Smoke detector6. Intrusion detection7. High temperature8. Low temperature9. High humidity10. UPS/DC power plant fail11.
