Labeling and Identification – All wiring harnesses and connectors shall be clearlyidentified by number and function according to the associated schematicdiagrams and documentation provided by the SELECTED VENDOR.H. Factory Testing:1. Before shipment of the equipment, the generator set shall be tested underrated load for performance and proper functioning of control and interfacingcircuits. Tests shall include:a. Verification of all safety shutdowns are functioning properlyb. Verification of single step load pick-up per NFPA 110-1996,Paragraph 5-13.2.6c. Verification of transient and voltage dip responses and steady statevoltage and speed (frequency) checksd. Full load test for a minimum of one hour2. Provide complete report(s) of all testing performed.I. Startup and Checkout:1. The supplier of the electric generating plant and associated items coveredherein shall provide factory trained technicians to check out the completedinstallation and to perform an initial startup inspection to include:a. Ensuring the engine starts (both hot and cold) within the specifiedtime.b. Verify engine parameters are within specification.c. Verify that no load frequency and voltage adjusting is required.d.
