Note the following information about thiscommand:v This command applies to Legacy backups only. It does not apply to VSSBackups.v The restore operation will fail if previous restore files exist.v This command does not restore the data to the Exchange Server.v This command does not require an Exchange Server to be installed on oraccessible from the machine where the restorefiles command is issued. As aresult, files can be restored to an alternative machine or to an alternativedirectory on the same machine as the Exchange Server.v This command also restores the Site Replication Service (SRS) files. Use the/excapplication parameter when restoring these files.v When restoring files from an inactive backup or an active incremental backup,use the /object parameter to specify the name of the backup object. The objectname uniquely identifies the backup instance in Tivoli Storage Manager serverstorage. A list of backup object names is obtained by issuing the query tsmcommand.v This command is only available on the command line interface.
