IBM ConfidentialOn the Tivoli Storage Manager serverYou must set up a scheduler service on the machine where the backup-archiveclient is installed before performing this procedure.1. Create a comm<strong>and</strong> file called c:\excfull.cmd. A sample comm<strong>and</strong> file(excfull.smp) is provided in the directory where Data Protection for Exchange isinstalled. This sample file contains comm<strong>and</strong>s necessary to perform ascheduled full Legacy backup of all Exchange Server storage groups to TivoliStorage Manager storage. You must specify COMPLETE PATHNAMES in thecomm<strong>and</strong> file for all file names <strong>and</strong> non-system comm<strong>and</strong>s.Note: Perform the following if you are setting up the scheduler for anExchange Server running in a cluster environment:v Your comm<strong>and</strong> file must reside on the Exchange Server File Share. Theschedule you define on the Tivoli Storage Manager server needs to matchthis comm<strong>and</strong> file. In Step 1 <strong>and</strong> Step 2, the comm<strong>and</strong> file c:\excfull.cmdcould be x:\excfull.cmd where x is the Exchange Server File Share.v The tsmoptfile <strong>and</strong> logfile options specified in your comm<strong>and</strong> file mustreflect the location of the options file <strong>and</strong> log file on the Exchange Server FileShare.v The Exchange virtual server must be specified in the c:\excfull.cmd file. Usethe excserver option to specify the Exchange virtual server in the comm<strong>and</strong>text located at the end of the c:\excfull.cmd file:tdpexcc backup * full /tsmoptfile=dsm.opt /logfile=excsch.log/excserver=virtualservername>> excfull.logNote that this comm<strong>and</strong> text is divided on two lines to accommodate pageformatting.2. Enter the following comm<strong>and</strong> to define the schedule. You can enter thiscomm<strong>and</strong> on the server console or from an administrative client.
