IMPORTANT! The name of the schedulerservice created by the dsmc util comm<strong>and</strong> in Step 4 <strong>and</strong> the cluster servicemust have the same logon authority.5. The Tivoli Storage Manager scheduler is now installed but has not started. Tostart the scheduler IN A NON-CLUSTER ENVIRONMENT, issue the followingcomm<strong>and</strong> in the Windows comm<strong>and</strong> prompt window:net start "Data Protection for Exchange Scheduler"This output is displayed:The Data Protection for Exchange Scheduler service is starting.The Data Protection for Exchange Scheduler service was startedsuccessfully.Note that because /autostart:yes is specified, the Tivoli Storage Managerscheduler automatically starts each time the Windows system is rebooted.Note:IMPORTANT!v If you are creating the scheduler service in a non-cluster environment,proceed directly to Step 13.v If you are creating the scheduler service in a cluster environment, performStep 6 through Step 13.The newly created scheduler service is tied to a cluster group. This allows theTivoli Storage Manager scheduler to correctly fail over between the nodes <strong>and</strong>also manage automatic password changes.6. Start the Cluster Administrator.7. Select the Exchange Server Cluster Group <strong>and</strong> create a new Resource torepresent the Data Protection for Exchange scheduler (File–>New–>Resource).Make sure the following parameters are specified:Resource TypeSpecify Generic Service.Group Specify the Exchange Virtual Server.Possible OwnersMake sure both node machines are listed. Add them if they are notlisted.Resource DependenciesMake sure the Exchange Virtual server <strong>and</strong> the shared drives wherethe options file is located are listed.Generic Service–>Service NameSpecify the exact name of the scheduler service.For example:Name: Data Protection for Exchange SchedulerDescription: Data Protection for Exchange SchedulerResource Type: Generic ServiceGroup: MARSEXC1Chapter 6.
