While significant progress had been made on asset management<br />

in 2007/08, DCS management is concerned that <strong>the</strong> management<br />

<strong>of</strong> pharmacies and <strong>the</strong> inven<strong>to</strong>ry <strong>of</strong> pharmacies remains a<br />

challenge.<br />

This risk had been localised <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> W Cape previously, but with<br />

<strong>the</strong> electricity crisis taking on national proportions, it has been<br />

added <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Significant and Prioritised Risks.<br />
