FRONT WHEEL / FRONT BRAKE / FRONT FORK / STEERING STEMMASTER CYLINDER BODYSTOP SWITCHLEVER● Remove the cylinder, spring from the mastercylinder.● Clean the inside of master cylinder, reserve, masterpiston with the brake fluid.SPRINGCYLINDERDIAPHRAGMPLATECIR CLIPDIAPHRAGMBOOTOIL CUP CAPPRIMARY CUPINSPECTION● Check the piston periphery for scores, scratched ornicks.● Check the primary and secondary cups for wear.SECONDARY CAPCYLINDERNOTE•If there is any leak of fluid, when installing newpiston, it may indicate the side wear of the cylinderby the direction of the piston contacting face. Inthis case, the master cylinder must be replacedalso.● Check the master cylinder for scores, scratched ornicks and replace if necessary.ASSEMBLYCAUTION•Replace the piston, spring, cups and snap ring as aset.•Be sure that each part is free from dust or dirtbefore reassembly.•When cleaning with the brake fluid, use thespecified brake fluid.● Apply the recommendatory brake fluid to the cup,cylinder and inside of cylinder, and install thespring, primary cup, piston.
