REAR WHEEL / REAR BRAKE / REAR CUSHIONREAR CUSHION BOLTREAR CUSHIONREAR CUSHIONREMOVAL● Loosen the top and bottom rear cushion setting bolt.NOTE•Support the frame firmly prior to working.COMPRESSOR ATTACHMENTREMOVAL● Install the compressor attachment as shown in thepicture.● Install the cushion on the cushion compressor, andcompress the spring.TOOL :REAR CUSHION CONPRESSOR ATTACHMENTREAR CUSHION COMPRESSORREAR CUSHIONUPPER METAL● Fix the upper metal, and loosen the lock nut.● Remove the upper metal.● Remove rear cushion.REAR DAMPER COMP.UPPER METALSPRING
REAR WHEEL / REAR BRAKE / REAR CUSHIONINSPECTION● Measure the rear cushion spring free length.● Check the damper rod for deflection or damage.SERVICE LIMIT: 185 MMINSTALLATION● Install the spring, stop rubber.● Apply thread locking agent to the lock nut, andinstall the rear cushion compressor attachment ondamper rod.● Fix the upper metal, and tighten the lock nut.TORQUE: 3.5 kgf·mTOOL: REAR CUSHION COMPRESSORREAR CUSHION COMPRESSOR ATTACHMENTINSTALLATION● Install the rear cushion.● Tighten the cushion upper metal with securing bolts.TORQUE: UPPER SIDE 4.0 kgf·mLOWER SIDE 4.0 kgf·m● Install in the reverse order of removal.
