Domesticrefrigeration appliances will be the firstend-use to be tackled, with a specificfocus to address ozone depletingsubstances contained in the current stockof equipment.The XIXth Meeting of the Parties to theMontreal Protocol in September 2007,through its Decision XIX/6, adopted anaccelerated phase-out schedule forHCFCs. The first control is the freeze onproduction <strong>and</strong> consumption of HCFCsthrough the first 10% reduction step tothe 35% on 1 January 2020.
