Despite the multitude <strong>of</strong> goodforces in the world, few are entirely on the side <strong>of</strong> nature;the killoren are the fey that nature can count on to fight forit should the need arise.• A killoren traveler has been asking pointed questionsabout a town’s recent growth. As farmers stretch theirfields ever closer to an ancient forest, many in the townare wondering if there will be some sort <strong>of</strong> conflict withthe denizens <strong>of</strong> the forest. In truth, the killoren is newto the area and seeks only to protect the town from ayoung green dragon that has been hunting the forest’sedges recently. Seeing the dragon as a natural predator,however, she does not wish to attract dragonslayers orother powerful heroes to the area before the dragonmoves on.• Something large and powerful has been seen in theheart <strong>of</strong> an ancient woodland. Even the killoren, themost forthcoming denizens <strong>of</strong> the forest, do not knowwhat it represents or what it is.
