The Economic Development budget includes the annual payment to the GraysHarbor Economic Development Council to support their efforts in three areas: business attraction,business retention and expansion, and infrastructure.This program also provides funding for expenditures related to the City's efforts concerningHometown Hoquiam and a Community Development Plan.Debt Service for the interfund Loan from Equipment Rental Reserve to pay for the Grayportdemolition is also paid for from this program.Mission:The mission of the Economic Development Department is to increase City revenues and the taxbase for Hoquiam by attracting healthy, quality employment opportunities.175
