The decrease in <strong>the</strong>number of beneficiaries was primarily due <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> absence of contributions <strong>to</strong> employee savings schemespaid this year for F.C.G.B. employees.b) Bonus schemeA Group-wide bonus scheme was concluded on 20 June 2011 with <strong>the</strong> various representative groups for<strong>the</strong> next three financial years, i.e. until 31 December 2013. This agreement implemented a newcalculation of <strong>the</strong> bonus, based on EBITA, which should prove more advantageous <strong>to</strong> eligible employees.The basis of <strong>the</strong> calculation provides that a bonus can be granted <strong>to</strong> employees if <strong>the</strong> EBITA for <strong>the</strong>current year reaches at least 90% of <strong>the</strong> EBITA for <strong>the</strong> previous year.The bonus paid in <strong>2012</strong> for <strong>the</strong> year 2011 and respecting <strong>the</strong> new above-mentioned agreement(excluding Ventadis and FCGB) <strong>to</strong>talled €1,885 thousand and applied <strong>to</strong> 1,877 employees.c) Group savings plan (excluding Ventadis and FCGB)In <strong>2012</strong>, <strong>the</strong> <strong>M6</strong> Group set up a Group savings plan where <strong>the</strong> Group makes individual contributions inrespect of every employee. In <strong>2012</strong>, <strong>the</strong> amount paid in respect of this contribution was €836 thousand.In addition, for <strong>M6</strong> Group’s 25 th anniversary, a special employee savings scheme enabled eligibleemployees <strong>to</strong> benefit from a lump sum calculated in proportion <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir length of service, <strong>the</strong>refore provingmore beneficial <strong>to</strong> longer serving employees. A <strong>to</strong>tal amount of €974 thousand was paid <strong>to</strong> 1,209employees.In <strong>to</strong>tal, <strong>the</strong> amounts paid by <strong>the</strong> Group in respect of employee savings amounted <strong>to</strong> €11,606 thousandin <strong>2012</strong> compared <strong>to</strong> €11,787 thousand in 2011.Lastly, <strong>the</strong> management of employee savings was entrusted <strong>to</strong> an external organisation, which proposes<strong>the</strong> following five separate funds, varying in terms of yield and risks:- FCPE Diversifié Actions (70% shares, 30% bonds), high yield but high risk;- FCPE Diversifié Taux (20% shares, 80% bonds) modest yield but lower risk;- FCPE Monétaire (100% money market), low yield and risk free;- FCPE “<strong>M6</strong> Group”, 100% Métropole Télévision shares;- FCPE Impact ISR rendement solidaire, a diversified FCPE (French company savings plan), investedin European markets, of which between 5 and 10% in socially responsible shares.7.1.2.3. Supplementary defined contribution retirement schemeMarking its desire <strong>to</strong> improve loyalty among executive staff and <strong>to</strong> meet <strong>the</strong>ir expectation in enhancing<strong>the</strong>ir pension coverage, a supplementary and compulsory defined contribution retirement scheme wasput in place in 2007 for this category of personnel.At <strong>the</strong> end of December <strong>2012</strong>, 86 senior executives of <strong>the</strong> Group benefited from this scheme.This scheme enables <strong>the</strong> creation of an individual retirement account whose objective is <strong>the</strong> payment of alife annuity.7.1.2.4. Total remuneration of 10 highest paid employeesIn <strong>2012</strong>, a <strong>to</strong>tal amount of €5,211 thousand was paid <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> 10 highest paid employees (excluding seniorexecutives and FCGB), of which €1,379 thousand was variable remuneration, compared <strong>to</strong> €5,125thousands in 2011, of which €1,823 thousand was variable remuneration.<strong>M6</strong> GROUP - <strong>2012</strong> REGISTRATION DOCUMENT - 247
