SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITYThe Foundation has, in fact, undertaken several projects aimed at promoting <strong>the</strong> future reintegration ofinmates. It has led several programmes aimed at combatting illiteracy, which affects 20% of <strong>the</strong> prisonpopulation, and audiovisual skills training, and it employs eight prisoners at <strong>the</strong> prison in Bourg-en-Bressein subtitling for <strong>the</strong> deaf and hard of hearing for <strong>M6</strong> programming.<strong>M6</strong> Group’s Foundation also invests a part of its resources improving <strong>the</strong> quality of life of prisoners.Indeed, <strong>the</strong> Foundation has set itself <strong>the</strong> objective of lending its cultural assistance <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Ministry ofJustice’s reintegration initiatives, through film screenings (Patrick Bruel and <strong>the</strong> entire team that workedon <strong>the</strong> film “Le Prénom” were present <strong>to</strong> lead a debate with inmates following <strong>the</strong> film screening), shows,sports activities (a rugby match, football referee training) and <strong>the</strong> creation of induction films <strong>to</strong> reduce <strong>the</strong>shock of prison life.The <strong>M6</strong> Foundation also provides financial support <strong>to</strong> six charities:a) The Relais Enfants Parents charity. The Foundation helped 1,350 children <strong>to</strong> visit <strong>the</strong>ir parents inhospital, 180 children <strong>to</strong> spend Christmas with <strong>the</strong>ir parents who are in prison and 150 inmates<strong>to</strong> make presents for <strong>the</strong>ir children.b) Mouvement de Réinsertion Sociale (MRS), a charity that provides individual support and access<strong>to</strong> self-governing housing <strong>to</strong> people leaving prison. This follow-up is initiated in prison andcontinued on release through <strong>the</strong> offer of temporary housing until <strong>the</strong> individual is able <strong>to</strong> supporthim/herself.c) The Yeux de l’Ouïe charity, which encourages <strong>the</strong> broadcast, production and promotion ofsound and visual work <strong>to</strong> establish networks <strong>to</strong> exchange various artistic practices.d) L’Oustal, a charity that helps people released from prison find accommodation and work andfacilitate <strong>the</strong>ir integration by helping <strong>the</strong>m with administrative formalities (social security, tax, etc.).This is <strong>the</strong> equivalent of Mouvement de Réinsertion Sociale for South-Western France.e) Association Nationale des Visiteurs de Prisons, with <strong>the</strong> introduction of training programmes andtalking groups for prison visi<strong>to</strong>rs.f) Les Prisons du Cœur, a charity that strives <strong>to</strong> improve conditions of detention and combatreoffending. The <strong>M6</strong> Foundation supports this organisation in its halfway house project.c) A uniting project for employeesThe foundation motivates Group employees and brings <strong>the</strong>m <strong>to</strong>ge<strong>the</strong>r around a rewarding and unitingproject, which testifies <strong>to</strong> our Company’s growing awareness of its role in society as a corporate citizen.15 Group employees thus contribute on a regular basis, through an organisation committee that meetsperiodically. They give time and share <strong>the</strong>ir expertise and experience in <strong>the</strong>ir respective fields <strong>to</strong> develop,put in<strong>to</strong> place and support <strong>the</strong> 2 employees who work full time for <strong>the</strong> <strong>M6</strong> Foundation.Fur<strong>the</strong>rmore, for <strong>the</strong> second consecutive year, 25 <strong>M6</strong> Group employees have agreed <strong>to</strong> take children <strong>to</strong>visit <strong>the</strong>ir parents who are in several prisons in <strong>the</strong> Paris region (Nanterre, Fresnes, Bois d’Arcy, etc.) forChristmas parties organised by <strong>the</strong> charity Relais Enfants Parents.7.2.4.2. Numerous o<strong>the</strong>r initiativesGroup employees are also committed <strong>to</strong> many o<strong>the</strong>r causes, such as breast cancer, by taking part onceagain this year in La Parisienne race, <strong>the</strong> “dons de vie” (gifts of life), with <strong>the</strong> presentation in <strong>the</strong> Group’spremises of actions undertaken by <strong>the</strong> Laurette Fugain charity, semi-annual blood donations, etc.In addition, <strong>M6</strong> Group is a member of <strong>the</strong> organisation Neuilly Nouveaux Médias, a “1901 association”created in September 2010 by Jean-Chris<strong>to</strong>phe Fromantin, Mayor of Neuilly and Departmental Councillorfor Hauts de Seine, and consisting of <strong>the</strong> <strong>to</strong>wn of Neuilly-sur-Seine and <strong>the</strong> large companies located<strong>the</strong>re.
