Represented in all aspects,diversity can also be seen in <strong>the</strong> teams of presenters on <strong>the</strong> channel, as well as amongst <strong>the</strong> ac<strong>to</strong>rs, <strong>the</strong>artists or simply in <strong>the</strong> choice of subjects reported on. <strong>M6</strong> Group coproduced and broadcast dramas(Scènes de ménages, Chez Vic<strong>to</strong>ire), films (Tout ce qui brille, De l’autre côté du périph), entertainment(Marrakech du rire, partnership with Jamel Debbouze) and car<strong>to</strong>ons and children’s programmes (Baskup,Kid&<strong>to</strong>i) in which <strong>the</strong> cast, as much as <strong>the</strong> subjects covered, demonstrate <strong>the</strong> Group’s attachment <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong>values of integration and representing diversity on <strong>the</strong> screen.In general, all <strong>M6</strong> programming are at pain <strong>to</strong> represent diversity through its participants. This isparticularly <strong>the</strong> case in <strong>the</strong> prime time and early evening programmes D&Co, Nouveau look pour unenouvelle vie, Pékin Express, Un dîner presque parfait, Incroyable Talent and even Zéro de conduite andNe dites rien à la mariée.Finally, <strong>the</strong> emancipation of women and balance and equality between genders are more than evercentral <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> campaigns and commitments of <strong>M6</strong> and W9, both in <strong>the</strong> structure of <strong>the</strong> Group and (seesection 7.1.5 of this <strong>document</strong> on <strong>the</strong> Group’s commitments <strong>to</strong> gender equality) and programming. Thus,in its new on-screen formula launched in May <strong>2012</strong>, <strong>the</strong> news bulletin Le 12.45 is pursuing its aim ofsignificantly increasing <strong>the</strong> airtime of female experts. All <strong>the</strong> juries in talent shows are mixed (Incroyabletalents, Top Chef, Le meilleur pâtissier de France). Mention may also be made of <strong>the</strong> short programmeDes femmes pour la planète, broadcast on <strong>M6</strong>, which gives complimentary portraits of women who arecommitted <strong>to</strong> protect <strong>the</strong> environment.7.2.6.2. A strong commitment <strong>to</strong> disabled peopleHere again, <strong>M6</strong> Group’s mission is not just <strong>to</strong> tackle <strong>the</strong> daily life of disabled people in its reports, but also<strong>to</strong> allow <strong>the</strong>m <strong>to</strong> participate in <strong>the</strong> programmes and games, just like <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r contestants (Un dînerpresque parfait, La France a un incroyable talent, etc.).In addition, <strong>M6</strong> highlights <strong>the</strong> work and <strong>the</strong> actions of disabled assistance charities in most of <strong>the</strong> <strong>to</strong>picsdedicated <strong>to</strong> this <strong>the</strong>me. In <strong>2012</strong>, <strong>the</strong> “employing disabled people” week <strong>to</strong>ok place in November <strong>2012</strong>,during which, for <strong>the</strong> 6 th year running, <strong>M6</strong> Group <strong>to</strong>ok on 15 disabled workers during a day of discoveryof a business sec<strong>to</strong>r or an occupation, working in tandem with an employee. This week led <strong>to</strong> a specialprogramming schedule on W9, including sponsorship, a comedy mini-series, messages from presentersin sign-language, videos, and TV films against prejudice. Finally, in magazines broadcast at peak viewingtimes, our writers devoted several reports <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> disabled, such as C’est ma vie, 100 % Mag, 66 Minutes,and Zone interdite.This year, SND, an <strong>M6</strong> Group distribution subsidiary, worked <strong>to</strong> provide better accessibility <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> cinemafor <strong>the</strong> deaf and hard of hearing. All films distributed by SND now have subtitles enabling <strong>the</strong> organisationof screenings dedicated <strong>to</strong> this target audience.
