SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY- 11 health, safety and working condition committees, 27 elected members,- 1 Group works council, 6 elected members.These various employee representative institutions promote regular and active corporate dialogue. In<strong>2012</strong>, on average 17 ordinary and extraordinary meetings <strong>to</strong>ok place every month with employeerepresentatives (across <strong>the</strong> various committees).Within <strong>the</strong> ESU, works council committee meetings (housing committee, catering, gender equality,training, etc. were held regularly in order <strong>to</strong> have a close understanding of employee issues.7.1.7. Health and safety at workEmployee safety and working conditions are <strong>the</strong> main priority for <strong>the</strong> 27 elected individuals of <strong>the</strong> Group’s11 health, safety and working condition committees.Health and safety conditions are moni<strong>to</strong>red on a regular basis, in particular through regular meetings (40meetings in <strong>2012</strong>).In <strong>2012</strong>, this body successfully played its part in <strong>the</strong> relocation of almost 1,200 people, including 360 in<strong>to</strong><strong>the</strong> new building at 107 avenue Charles De Gaulle in Neuilly.Within <strong>the</strong> ESU, <strong>the</strong> committee in charge of quality of working life and <strong>the</strong> prevention of psychosocial risksmet in <strong>2012</strong>. As part of its preventative efforts, twice a year <strong>the</strong> committee identified warning indica<strong>to</strong>rs <strong>to</strong>be examined and <strong>the</strong> relevant procedure <strong>to</strong> be followed.As part of <strong>the</strong> policy relating <strong>to</strong> prevention of psychosocial risks, <strong>the</strong> Group also introduced specifictraining <strong>to</strong> raise awareness among various company stakeholders: staff representatives, managers,human resources managers <strong>to</strong> ensure <strong>the</strong>y all speak <strong>the</strong> same language, <strong>to</strong> identify risks and <strong>to</strong> respondaccordingly. In <strong>2012</strong>, 80 employees (including 51 managers) attended full or half-day training sessions <strong>to</strong>raise awareness of psychosocial risks.In addition, as part of <strong>the</strong>ir annual appraisal, each employee is encouraged <strong>to</strong> consider <strong>the</strong>ir work-lifebalance. These indica<strong>to</strong>rs are <strong>the</strong>n considered along with <strong>the</strong> employee’s manager and human resourcesmanagement in order <strong>to</strong> implement, where necessary, an action plan <strong>to</strong> ensure this balance. Safety, hygiene and health trainingIn <strong>2012</strong>, 245 people underwent safety standards training (evacuation, use of fire fighting equipment, firstaid at work, etc.). The training of 39 first aid workers was provided by <strong>the</strong> Group nurse, who was herselftrained <strong>to</strong> that end. Occupational healthThe daily presence of <strong>the</strong> qualified nurse in <strong>the</strong> medical room, in conjunction with internal communication,enabled <strong>the</strong> renewal of <strong>the</strong> two annual blood donation campaigns, which represented nearly 165 blooddonations and 8 platelet donations in <strong>2012</strong>.The nurse can offer preventative advice <strong>to</strong> employees on various subjects via <strong>the</strong> intranet such as <strong>the</strong>how best <strong>to</strong> position yourself if your role involves mainly sedentary work, a reminder of which vaccinations<strong>to</strong> get before going abroad and sleeping disorders.She also provides full information on safety on <strong>the</strong> premises <strong>to</strong> new employees on <strong>the</strong> Neuilly sites. Work related accidentsThe number of work or travel related accidents <strong>to</strong> permanent and contract employees that led <strong>to</strong> acessation of work was 11 in <strong>2012</strong>, compared <strong>to</strong> 32 in 2011, with a frequency rate of 2.696 (7.661 in2011) and a severity rate of 0.003 compared <strong>to</strong> 0.25 in 2011.<strong>M6</strong> GROUP - <strong>2012</strong> REGISTRATION DOCUMENT - 251
