The <strong>M6</strong> Group, viaits subsidiary <strong>M6</strong> Web, has carved itself a place of choice in this area as it produces programmes specific<strong>to</strong> mobile telephony.7.4.2.2. Supporting creation and new talentsAs part of its production and broadcasting obligations, <strong>M6</strong> is committed <strong>to</strong> developing artistic creationand <strong>to</strong> value its diversity by focusing on young talent in cinema, audiovisual works and music.The Group thus shares its cinematic investment carried out by its subsidiary <strong>M6</strong> Films betweenestablished producers and young talent waiting <strong>to</strong> be discovered. In <strong>2012</strong>, <strong>M6</strong> Films <strong>to</strong>ok part in <strong>the</strong>financing of many first films directed by Martin Bourboulon (Papa ou Maman ?), Jean-Marc Rudnicki (LesReines du ring) and Eric Summer & Eric Warin (Ballerina), as well as second films by Nicolas Charlet &Bruno Lavaine (Le Grand Méchant Loup), Pascal Bourdiaux (Fis<strong>to</strong>n) and Fabrice Eboue (Papa Maréchal).On air, <strong>the</strong> Group is strongly attached <strong>to</strong> revealing new talent, including young ac<strong>to</strong>rs in its audiovisualcoproductions (Soda, Scènes de ménages), presenters and hosts (Kareen Guiock, Alex Goude, SandrineCorman, etc.) and programme participants (Thomas Boissy in music, Norbert Tarayre and Jean Imbert incooking). This is <strong>the</strong> Group’s trademark, which is accompanied by loyalty <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> talent revealed, as shownby <strong>the</strong> Group’s support for <strong>the</strong>ir shows, disc productions, recipe books, new films, etc.7.4.2.4. Derive value from assets and work for <strong>the</strong> preservation of culturalheritageThe audiovisual rights subsidiaries of <strong>the</strong> Group contribute <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> preservation of leading European filmsthrough <strong>the</strong> res<strong>to</strong>ration of classic films.This res<strong>to</strong>ration work was initiated in 2005 with <strong>the</strong> purchase of SNC’s catalogue of over 400 classic filmsby <strong>the</strong> <strong>M6</strong> Group. This was continued in <strong>2012</strong>, enabling <strong>the</strong> res<strong>to</strong>ration of 4 additional films, including “LaBelle & la Bête”, ”Sylvie et le Fantôme”, “Ces messieurs de la gâchette” and “Rocambole”.
