Some stand for hours and hours.Others keep their arms uplifted. Some engagein breathing exercises like Pranayam, andsome sleep on nails or sit under the burningsun with four fires lit around them (i.e., PanchAgni Tap or the austerity of the five fires). Butall these methods are artificial. Simran or theremembrance of God is the only natural methodand the easiest to follow and develop. It canbe practiced with equal ease by both the young213
