Technical ManualRange/AlternativesExplanation andresult of alternatives.Menu ‘Scale 1 Calibration’The Scale 1 Calibration menu is found after the last parameter in menu Scale. Hereonly scale 1 menu is shown. Note that the scale number is shown as a prefix to theparameter name, here ‘1:’1:Calibration TypeData SheetDeadweightTableDefines the type of calibration to be performed.A new calibration is initiated as a ‘Calibration type’is selected.Data Sheet: Data sheet calibration is easy to use anddoesn’t demand any reference equipment, except datafrom the transducer data sheets.Deadweight: Deadweight calibration is normallythe most accurate calibration type. It requires knownweights to at least 2/3 of the wanted measuring range.Table: Table calibration is used to enter recorded valuesfrom a previous calibration into a replacementinstrument.Data sheet calibration related parameters1:Conversion FactorRange:Defines the relationship between a measured value0.01 to 100 expressed in data sheet unit and expressed in the selected measurement unit.1:Number of TransducersRange:1 to 4Defines the number of transducers and fixed supportpoints in the scale installation. All transducers must haveequal rated load.If the total number is over 4: enter 1 here!1:Rated LoadRange:1 to 999999Unit:Data sheet unitDefines the rated load for one transducer, expressed inthe data sheet unit. The value is specified inthe transducer data sheet.NOTE! If the data sheet value is 5 kN, the parametershould be set to 5000 (N).If the total number of transducers and fixed supports isover 4: multiply that number with the rated load for onetransducer and enter the result here!3-20
