Example: Enable Direct Collection Using the ODBCLogSensorTo create a connector on the default agent to retrieve events generatedby a SQL Server database on an ODBC Server1. Select the Administration tab and the Log Collection subtab.2. Expand Agent Explorer, and expand the agent group containing the CAEnterprise Log Manager default agent3. Select a default agent, that is, an agent with the name of a CA Enterprise LogManager server.The default agent can have other connectors deployed to it.4. Click Create New Connector.The New Connector Creation wizard opens with the Connector Details stepselected.5. Select the MS_SQL_Server_2005 integration from the Integrationdrop-down list.This selection populates the Connector Name field withMS_SQL_Server_2005_Connector.6. (Optional) Replace the default name with one that makes the connector easyfor you to identify. Consider providing a unique name if you are monitoringseveral SQL Server databases with this same agent.7.
