Port 389 isthe well-known port for LDAP (LightweightDirectory Access Protocol). If your registryserver does not use port 389, record the correctport number.Record the LDAP distinguished name (DN) that isused as the base. The DN is a unique identifierfor an entry in an LDAP directory tree structure.No spaces are allowed in the Base DN. Onlyglobal users and groups discovered underneaththis DN are mapped and can be assigned a <strong>CA</strong><strong>Enterprise</strong> <strong>Log</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> application group orrole.Enter and confirm the password for the userlisted in the User DN row.User DNUse Transport Layer Security(TLS)Enter the valid user credentials for any valid userin the user registry whose user record issearchable. Enter the complete distinguishedname (DN) of the user.You can log in with any user ID that has anadministrative role. The User DN and associatedpassword are the credentials used to attach tothe external directory host.Specifies whether your user store is to use theTSL framework to protect plain texttransmissions.
